Academic Representation co-ordinator

We are seeking a highly motivated, adaptable individual with a passion for student representation and excellent organisational skills.

We are embarking on an ambitious new strategy for our Advice & Academic Representation department and we're looking for the right candidate to work with us to develop a culture of advocacy that empowers our academic representatives. This role will work closely with the Education Executive Officer to ensure that academic representatives are supported and celebrated, that balanced and representative feedback is gathered and that outcomes are communicated to students.

Junior Web Developer - deadline extended

Full-Time, 12-month fixed term contract

LSU Scale 6 Point 17-18, currently £22,659-£23,334 per annum pro rata

We are looking for a talented and dynamic Junior Web Developer to help us develop and build cool things for our students at Loughborough Students’ Union. Our website is the go-to place for our students to find all the information they need on SU activity. We’re looking for someone who really cares about the student journey and final result, not just getting the job finished on time.

This is a diverse role where no two days are likely to be the same. It mixes client interaction with some strategic thinking around digital propositions, as well as pure development. We’re looking for someone articulate and confident who enjoys working as part of a team. The ideal candidate will have bags of initiative, a cool head when the pressure is on, and a keenness to stay on top of the latest digital trends.

Sales & Partnership Manager

LSU Scale 6 Point 19, currently £24,028 per annum. Full time, full year.

We are looking for an entrepreneurial and target-driven Sales and Partnerships Manager to join our Commercial Services Team. We’re looking for an individual who will diversify and drive the generation of additional income through partnerships, sponsorship arrangements and third party sales to meet the ambitious needs of LSU as well utilising partnerships that will benefit Loughborough students and enhance the brand of the Students’ Union.

This is a diverse role where no two days are likely to be the same. You will be working closely with clients to monitor and ensure they are fully engaged and realising the full value of LSU whilst also working to deliver partnerships that enhance the world-class student experience that Loughborough has to offer.

Nursery Posts

Loughborough Campus Nursery is looking for two people to join our lovely nursery team:

Early Years Educator

Full time, full year - LSU Scale 2 point 4, currently £9.04 per hour

We are looking for an enthusiastic, hardworking team player who can work flexible hours between 7.30am and 6pm. We require a minimum of a NVQ level 3 qualification in child care with an experience of implementing the EYFS. Paediatric First Aid qualification is preferable.

35 hours a week all year. This post is subject to an Enhanced DBS.

Nursery Lunchtime Assistant

Part time, full year - LSU scale 1 point 2, currently £8.75 per hour

We are looking for an enthusiastic, hardworking team player who has an experience of working with young children and can work flexibly between 11:45am and 2:15pm. We are looking for someone who can provide a high quality meal service and undetake the supervision of children.

12.5 hours a week all year. This post is subject to an Enhanced DBS.
