Real Ale and Real Cider

Real Ale is "beer brewed from traditional ingredients,
matured by secondary fermentation in the container
from which it is dispensed, and served without the
use of extraneous carbon dioxide".
This is the definition
by CAMRA, the Campaign for Real Ale, the organisation
that since 1971 successfully promotes beer and cider
made from traditional ingredients.
We promote the traditional English
pub and beer culture by visiting traditional pubs in
and around Loughborough, and brewing our own beer.
