Peer Mentoring

Peer Mentoring

What is Peer Mentoring?

Every first-year undergraduate student at Loughborough is given a Peer Mentor. The Mentor will be a student who is from the same school/department, but in their second year or beyond.   From which societies to join, to finding out about the support the University has to offer, from learning about life in Loughborough, to tips about your course, Mentoring lets first-year students speak to someone who has been where they are now.

Mentors can be a great source of support.  They can be a friendly face whilst students settle into University or be there for any concerns or queries later on in the year.  Mentors are available for a chat or an email to either answer a question or alternatively suggest the service that can help.
