Student Consultant Role

Student Consultants

Student Voice currently has six student volunteers who work within our advice service and are supervised by the full-time consultants. These individuals are trained and experienced in advice giving and are an invaluable part of our team.

We recruit once a year for new Student Consultants (usually in April) to step into the shoes of any of our outgoing team, and it is a fantastic opportunity to pursue an interest or passion for student support.

If you're interested in finding out more about the role, please click HERE to view the opportunity profile and if you have any questions then do not hesitate to get in touch via voiceadvisor@lsu.co.uk .

Applications to be a Student Consultant are now closed and shortlisted applicants will be contacted shortly with further information.

Take a look at what two of our current Student Consultants have to say about the role:

"Supporting other students has been extremely rewarding and it has helped me to build up my own confidence too. Having the opportunity to develop through training and meeting with students has enabled me to build upon my interpersonal and communication skills. I would highly recommend this role to anyone who is considering becoming a Student Consultant."

"I really enjoy working in Student Voice. I find the work rewarding, and getting involved has built my confidence, making me feel more able to tackle unfamiliar tasks."
