Enterprise and Employability Committee Positions

Vice Chair

  • Organises and minutes committee meetings
  • Ensures that other members of the committee are up to date with current tasks
  • Keeps an action log to ensure progress
  • Assumes the role of chair at events or committee meetings if the chair is unable to attend

Collaborations Officer

  • Liaise with Enterprise and Employability Reps and increase Interdepartmental connectivity
  • Section head Enterprise and Employability meetings and write minutes + create new methods to help the reps create entrepreneurial events
  • Keep track of attendance at meetings and score portfolio
  • Help and support collaboration between the Enterprise and Employability and other sections
  • Attend DSF meetings and report back
  • Help promote the overall Enterprise and Employability Section goals

Events Officer

  • Taking event ideas and breaking them up into the steps required for success
  • Book rooms, tech and get refreshments
  • In charge of monitoring attendance at events
  • Liaise with Marketing and Media team for what is needed
  • Review events with Vice Chair or EO
  • Delegate any of the above to other members where needed
  • Maintain awareness of Sectional events budget to forecast and ensure financial security

Media and Marketing Team

Marketing Officer

  • Work with Committee to decide on Campaigns and structure them
  • Take control of social media
  • Use EO network to do lecture shout outs
  • Keep the website up to date
  • Write up reviews of events or delegate to other members of committee

Media – Video/pictures

  • Attend events to take pictures
  • Book media equipment
  • Attend Careers fairs to deliver Photo Booth service
  • Create video content for major campaigns or events

Media – Graphics

  • Create graphics and imagery for the sections
  • Communicate and help the rest of the MMC team
