Christmas Tea Dance – Sunday 26th November (times to be confirmed)
The Tea Dance is the one of the most popular events held and it is highly recognised within Action, having won an Action Award for the 'Most Outstanding Contribution to the Community'.
Action volunteers organise a truly memorable afternoon for elderly residents where the supply of tea and cakes never runs out and the music evokes memories of days gone by. With music supplied by Tuxedo Swing, this popular occasion is loved by all who take part and is certainly one to look forward to, and this year we’re planning two! So if you fancy a go at the Quickstep, Charleston or Foxtrot, come down and let our guests show you how it’s really done! The presence of the Mayor and Mayoress, who usually attend, adds yet another dimension to this already special event.
