This exciting Project is designed to help children improve their numeracy skills. Volunteers play maths orientated board games with young pupils at nearby primary schools for just one hour a week. Each volunteer is assigned two pairs of Year 3 or Year 4 students, and have a half an hour session with both. These students are often struggling with their numeracy skills and need a bit more support to build their confidence. Schools have given feedback stating that, as a result of Number Partners, children are doing much better than expected in exams - making this a truly rewarding project.
