Kids Olympics is a project designed to get young kids around Loughborough active and also increase their interest in sports, volunteer’s will be leading and overlooking small groups of kids through the duration of the actives we have to offer.
A group of volunteers will be leading the sports activities reguarly, some of the activities will include things like the egg and spoon race, the three legged race, javelin, a mini obstacle course and many more. This project will take place in different primary school in the local area during term time. The project will take around 3-4 hours; this time will be made up of setting up, clearing up, alongside completing the activities. Volunteers will gain an understanding of sports leadership, and you will gain the experience of working with little kids, but also feeling rewarded by helping the local community. This is definitely a great way to meet new people!
