Looking for an exciting opportunity to inspire the next generation? Want to work with young people in sport? Read on!
All Stars Cricket is a national junior programme developed by the ECB and its Elite Coach Development team that aims to inspire the next generation of 5 to 8 year old cricketers. The programme will teach kids the skills to play cricket, through fun game based activities which promote motor skill development (supporting the development of 9 out of 10 Fundamental movement skills).
We are looking for volunteers to go into primary schools and promote the program, demonstarting why cricket is fun, engaging and sport for life. This will be delivered through a series of assemblies and taster sessions.
Training will be provided before you deliver your first assembly, this will likely take place from the 12th of February onwards - dates will be conformed in due course. Volunteers will go in groups so you won't be working alone and you don't need to commit to every assembly either.
